Rotaract District Assembly 2017

On the sidelines of the Rotary International District 3770's Youth Conference 2017 was the Rotaract District Assembly. It was hosted by the Rotaract Club of San Jose Del Monte with the facilitation of the District Rotaract Committee. The theme of the event was "The Power of Numbers in Making A Difference", anchored on Rotary International President Ian H.S. Riseley's theme, "Rotary: Making a Difference". It was also held at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, Malolos, Bulacan on November 11, 2017. One of the highlights of the event was the election of District Rotaract Representative-Elect and District Rotaract Representative-Nominee for the incoming Rotary Years 2018-2020. Manuel Joseph Franco of Rotaract Club of Calumpit and Jess Baria of Rotaract Club of San Jose del Monte secured enough votes for the District Rotaract Representative-Elect and District Rotaract Representative-Nominee positions, respectively. The Rotaract Club of Cabanatuan City, through its Great Class President Gelen Keila Baroña, exercised its right to suffrage being an active club of the District. Delegates from the Rotaract Club of Cabanatuan City who took part in this occassion were Great Class President Gelen Keila Baroña, Vice President/President-Elect Russell Vilda, PP Edisen Mamauag, and Club Director Jack Alexis Torres.
